Buffalo Mfg Co made attractive turn of the century lamp fillers which were used to fill kerosene into bicycle lamps or top off lamps. This filler is silver colored, material unknown, but usually were nickel plated over copper or brass. The plunger on the graceful handle allowed the air into the chamber when pouring, it still pushes up and down.
The top has an acorn shape and screws off and on. Bottom says Manf"d by the Buffalo MFG Co. Buffalo New York.
In very good shape for its age, it is not polished, has some spots and two small spots where the nickel(?) finish is worn.
